It’s Independence Day for us Malaysians, so my mom and I baked this orange Swiss roll. I totally needed an excuse.
Citrus-y… but kind of salty.

…but greek yoghurt topped with apples is BOMB. And nice for your gut.

Great news! I just received a brand-new batch of resistors.
Bad news! I mixed them up, and my multimeter is funky, so I’m left to learn the peculiar skill of reading resistor bands.
I had a go at one yesterday for a short while — around 10 minutes — and I was already confused by which direction to read it. It’s a five-band, so there’s no obvious gap in the middle.
Plus, I had a hard time telling the colours apart. To the extent that I needed my phone’s flashlight. 😭

Forgive my possible ignorance, but why can’t you guys just print the value out?
P.S. I’ve also received a new toolbox. I feel a wee bit more important now.

FINALLY. AFTER A PLATEAU SINCE SEPTEMBER.

I’m talking about this one.

My very first entry was dated 2nd August, 2024. I’d written notes about the Caesar Cipher, back when I was learning about Cryptography. Yeah, I studied that for shits and giggles.
Not like I found it fun. Building stuff, like engineering, is so much more enjoyable to me.

Then I started journaling on 17th May, 2025, which I’m not showing a photo of.
One of my fears is being an adult and wondering if I’d thoroughly wasted my teenage years. I really hope this habit counters that; it’ll make for an enthralling read in the future.
